Case Studies

Results for law firms, with the receipts attached.

Three firms, three markets, and every number traced back to the client’s own analytics, with its source and the period it covers.

Numbers from the dashboard, not from a sales deck.

Our case studies show measurable results achieved for three law firms, using data from their own Google Analytics and Google Search Console. We track what matters: contact submissions, qualified lead opportunities, phone clicks, and organic traffic, each compared with performance before our work began.

We focus on leads, not just rankings, because higher rankings alone don’t guarantee new clients. Every result presented includes its data source and measurement period, with outcomes varying by market, practice area, and competition.

These case studies feature law firms in California and Washington State, demonstrating our team’s experience across different legal markets. While every firm’s competitive landscape is unique, our approach remains consistent: understand the market, identify opportunities, and build a search strategy designed to turn visibility into consultations and potential clients.

The Law Office of Michael C. MacNeil

San Diego, California

A firm splitting its attention between two practices whose clients search in completely different ways. The presence was rebuilt around the cases the firm wanted to sign, and the calls and forms started coming from those searches.

Gammill Law

Torrance and the South Bay, California

Accident and injury work in a county where every firm bids and ranks for the same handful of searches. The gain was not traffic for its own sake: it was more of the people who went on to ask for a case review.

Findley & Rogers Attorneys at Law

Washington State

A practice that lives on people quietly looking for a way to clear a record. The search presence was built around those exact questions, and consultation requests grew alongside the traffic.

Every number, side by side.

The same figures as the case studies above, in one place, with the source of each. Post-launch compared with pre-launch in every case. Two of the three name Google Analytics alone; the Gammill figures also draw on Search Console, because part of what moved there was visibility on searches the firm had never appeared for.

How to read one of our numbers.

Every result we publish carries four pieces of information. If any of them is missing from an agency’s case study, ask why.

The metric

What was counted: a lead submission, not a page view.

The source

Where it was counted: the firm’s own Google Analytics or Search Console.

1Lead submissions +380% Gammill Law
2 Google Analytics & Search Console 3 Post-launch period 4 vs. pre-launch period
The period

When it was counted: the period after launch.

The comparison

What it is compared with: the period before launch, in the same account.

Three markets. One pattern.

Family law in San Diego, injury work in the South Bay, record expungement in Washington State. Three markets that have nothing in common: one splits attention between two practices whose clients search in opposite ways, one competes in a county where every firm bids on the same handful of searches, and one lives on a single quiet question people are embarrassed to ask out loud. Different clients, different searches, and the same three decisions behind the numbers.

1

Built around the cases the firm wants

Not around every search that mentions a lawyer. Each firm started by deciding which cases it wanted more of.

2

Pages that answer the exact question

The people searching had a specific problem. The pages spoke to that problem in plain language.

Measured in leads, not in traffic

Contact submissions, lead submissions and phone clicks were the numbers that counted, not impressions.

What firms say about working with us.

Andrew Sullivan Andrew Sullivan Verified by Trustpilot

The Expert SEO has become a core asset to our business success. Their considered approach has bore quantifiable results. Our website is greatly improved. Our traffic has increased dramatically. Now we are engaging them to assist us in attracting more AI based searches. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the top notch service from our client success manager, Nicole. She provides great client services and keeps busy small business people on track.

Sarah Whitmore Sarah Whitmore Verified by Trustpilot

We had worked with other marketing companies before, but this was the first time we actually understood what was being done and why. The communication and transparency have been excellent.

Daniel Harrison Daniel Harrison Verified by Trustpilot

Our visibility on Google has grown tremendously. More importantly, we’re getting calls from people actually looking for the type of cases we handle.

Jennifer Collins Jennifer Collins Verified by Trustpilot

The Expert SEO rebuilt our SEO strategy around the services and markets we actually wanted to grow. We’re seeing stronger organic visibility and a noticeable increase in qualified consultations.

Amanda Parker Amanda Parker Verified by Trustpilot

The team is responsive, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. We always know what’s happening with our SEO and what they’re working on next.

We’ve been working with The Expert SEO for over a year, and the experience has been great so far! Before hiring them, our online presence wasn’t generating enough leads or the right quality of leads.

They helped us with website design, PPC, and organic and local SEO growth. We saw an immediate bump in website traffic early on, and since then the growth has been steady and consistent.

The increased online visibility has brought us more qualified leads and improved the overall performance of our marketing efforts. The team is responsive, transparent, and data-driven, which we really appreciate.

I would recommend The Expert SEO to business owners looking for a reliable digital marketing agency focused on long-term growth.

Emily Richardson Verified by Trustpilot

We’ve seen a real improvement in our local visibility and the quality of leads coming through Google. The team has also been fantastic about communication.

Robert Mitchell Robert Mitchell Verified by Trustpilot

We’re competing in a very difficult market, and they never promised overnight results. They built a strategy, executed consistently, and our visibility and consultations have continued to grow.

David Anderson David Anderson Verified by Trustpilot

We came to the team after working with another SEO company that wasn’t delivering the quality of leads we needed. Within months, we started seeing stronger visibility across our key practice areas and, more importantly, better inquiries. The communication has been excellent, and we finally feel like our marketing has a clear direction.

Elizabeth Warren Elizabeth Warren Verified by Trustpilot

What stood out from the beginning was how much time they spent understanding our firm before recommending anything. They looked at our market, competitors, practice areas, website, and the types of clients we actually wanted to attract. Instead of chasing traffic or rankings that don’t translate into business, the strategy has always been centered around qualified opportunities. Our organic presence has grown, we’re showing up for more valuable searches, and we’re receiving better consultations through the website. Just as important, the team is responsive, transparent, and always willing to explain what they’re doing and why. It feels much more like having a marketing partner than simply hiring another SEO agency.

Questions about our results.

What the numbers measure, where they come from, and what they do not promise.

Where are the firms in these case studies?

California and Washington State. We work with law firms across the United States, so these are the same kind of engagement we run today, in markets as contested as any. The work is the same everywhere; what changes with the market is how hard each search is to win.

How long did these results take?

Each figure compares the post-launch period with the period before it, over months rather than weeks. SEO compounds: the first ninety days go to repairs and pages, and the numbers that look dramatic on this page are the result of that work continuing for several quarters.

Can I talk to one of these firms?

Ask on the call. We do not hand out client contacts without permission, and we will not pretend otherwise, but we can ask a firm whether it is open to a short conversation.

Are these real clients?

Yes. Each case study names the firm, and every number comes from that firm’s own analytics dashboard, with its source and the period it covers.

What do the percentages compare?

The period after launch against the period before it, in the same analytics account. A figure like +380% lead submissions means the firm received 4.8 times as many lead submissions after launch as before.

Where does the data come from?

From Google Analytics and, for Gammill Law, also Google Search Console. We report the source next to every number so you can see exactly what it measures.

Will my firm get the same results?

Not necessarily. Results vary by market, practice area, competition and your starting point. What we can promise is the same process and the same honest reporting.

Why do you track leads instead of rankings?

Because a ranking does not pay your staff. Contact submissions, lead submissions and phone clicks are closer to a signed case, so those are the numbers we lead with.

How do I find out what is possible for my firm?

Start with a free review. We look at your website, your practice areas and the firms ranking above you in your counties, and send it back within 24 hours.
